His works are featured in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (US), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Mexico) and the Collection of Latin American Art (Chile), to name a few. Arango’s inspiration has always been the human being in all of its phases. He works mainly in oil but also uses mixed media such as wood, paper, and occasionally vintage objects.
